EcoMentors Visit Corner Brook
Looking for a rewarding, environmental, volunteer opportunity? Earth Day Canada's youth-led education program, EcoMentors, is coming to Newfoundland. EcoMentors provide youth (aged 15-24) training and motivation to facilitate environmental workshops in schools and community settings. Attend a free training session at the Greenwood Inn on West Street, Corner Brook (March 3rd from 10am-3pm). Registration deadline is Feb 27th.  [Register]

"The 2011 Santa Claus Parade was held on December 11, 2011. Despite some uncooperative weather, the parade was a tremendous success. The town would like to thank all volunteers who helped out with the parade and children's christmas party, as well as everyone who entered floats. We were all quite pleased to see long time parade supporter and volunteer Ron Targett take part in the parade. Welcome back Ron.

Men's and Ladies Darts
The Massey Drive Men's and Ladie's Dart Leagues have started play for another season. Both leagues play at the Town Hall with the ladies playing Tuesday nights and the men on Wednesday. For information on Ladies Darts contact Shawna Gill at 632-2539 and for Men's Darts contact Chris Penney at 634-0978.
