EcoMentors Visit Corner Brook
Looking for a rewarding, environmental, volunteer opportunity? Earth Day Canada's youth-led education program, EcoMentors, is coming to Newfoundland. EcoMentors provide youth (aged 15-24) training and motivation to facilitate environmental workshops in schools and community settings. Attend a free training session at the Greenwood Inn on West Street, Corner Brook (March 3rd from 10am-3pm). Registration deadline is Feb 27th.  [Register]

Spring Into Wellness 2
Do you need extra motivation and assistance to address those longstanding, seemingly unachievable New Year’s wellness resolutions? Register now for the Spring Into Wellness 2 Program - to be offered at Town Hall on Thursdays from 6:30pm-7:30pm.  Education sessions will be provided on many areas related to healthy eating, maintaining a healthy weight, and lifestyle. Tentative program dates are from March 8 thru April 26.  Registration deadline is February 24th.  Please contact Blanche Whelan via phone at 634-3282 or email at blanchew@bellaliant.net.

Snow Clearing Regulations
Residents are advised that as of Nov. 1, 2011, the Town of Massey Drive's Snow Clearing Regulations are in effect. On-steet parking is not permitted between the ours of midnight and 8:00 AM, at any time during a snowstorm, or for 12 hours after. On-street parking is any vehicle that is parked within 3 meters of the curb, or in the case where there is no curb, within 3 meters of the edge of the pavement. All of the Snow Clearing Regulations are available on the website in the Town Hall section under the Regulations tab.
